A dSLR over a compact point and shoot? Yeah right! The lenses for those things cost DOUBLE the price for the main camera. There's no way people are going to stop buying point and shoots and not only spend a ton of money on dSLR's but learn how to use them as well! My parents cant even figure out the basics of a point and shoot!

I happen to still buy CD's. True, I'm on iTunes more than I buy a CD, but that doesnt mean I completely stopped buying CD's!

DVD's are still in high demand. Glee sold out the first week it was out! Not buying DVD movies, I can understand but they are certainly still going strong as far as TV Shows!

Dont even get me started on the external hard drive part. Back up files on the internet? Really? I'd rather have a physical place where I know I backed up my files. Not to mention external hard drives dont require a subscription fee!!

Wow, the whole article is making me unnecessarily angry. She does know that having a compact digital camera is to have for easy access instead of carrying around a DSLR? Point-and-shoot cameras fit easily in your purse and can be taken pretty much anywhere. Not that I condemning DSRL but point-and-shoots are a lot more convenient for some? Horrible article indeed.

Wow, what an awful article. I just am really surprised at some of the items she included and her reasoning as to why to avoid purchasing.

People buy a lot of stuff so they should buy an online backup service? How does that make any sense? Does she not realize that backup services are for just that--backing up. You can't use it like you would with a regular external harddrive where you can play it right off of it.

Blah, I'm surprised that article was even allowed by her editor.
