Otherwise, I would highly recommend clicking read more and reading my comments towards each individual movie, why I want to see each one and their trailers. I will also likely be updating this list as more movie trailers get released such as the remake of Total Recall later this year.

American Reunion – I am a huge American Pie fan, period. I can constantly watch American Pie 1, 2 and 3 over and over again as I always do when I catch it on TV. I am glad that the original cast is back, of course, it would not even be the same if they were not and it would just be almost another spin off movie like those after American Wedding.

The Expendables 2 – We all know how badass the first one was so I know it will be even more badass again with the same actors as well as Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme joining the cast. Who will fight Jean-Claude? Seeing how he is a bad guy in the movie, I would imagine it will be Chuck Norris but any of the other good guys would also be a good fight against him too. I hope we will see more of Arnold Schwarzenegger in this movie too, I have missed him being in movies ever since he became The Governator.

21 Jump Street – I love a lot of actors as well as the 2 in this movie, Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill. Jonah Hill’s acting career has really taken off, actually both have and for the best, too!

Battleship – I could be wrong and I am pretty sure about this while not bothering to look up more details, but this movie should be like the Battleship board game that maybe you played as a child or have at least heard of. Either way, it looks like it will be good and it has Taylor Kitsch from one of the greatest TV shows ever made, Friday Night Lights.

Chronicle – I hope this movie will be good and I do like Michael B. Jordan too. But it really has a J.J. Abrams feel to it and some of his movies have really been bad over the years or more so just confusing and they go unexplained such as

Safe House – Ryan Reynolds is one of my favorite actors of all time and Denzel Washington is another and one of the greatest actors to live too. So them two together in one movie, action packed, is just going to be great.

The Avengers – It is the Avengers, is there really much more I need to say? Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and everyone else all in one movie, it cannot get more awesome than this yet alone the actors who play them. :)

Wrath of Titans – If no one knew, this is the sequel to Clash of the Titans which was not that good at all. However, this one looks good so I will at least watch it one way or another if not in theatre. Plus, Sam Worthington is a badass actor.

This Means War – This movie just looks absolutely ridiculous and hilarious as Chris Pine and Tom Hardy fight over Reese Witherspoon. If you watch the trailer some of the scenes are just ridiculous and funny. Hopefully all of the funny scenes are not only found in the trailer though.

The Lucky One – This just seems like a good movie, Zac Efron is a great actor in the most recent years such as his roles in 17 Again and Charlie St. Cloud.

The Vow – I am seeing this because of Channing Tatum because he is a badass actor, even if this is what some people would call a “chick flick.”

Lock-out (aka Ms One: Maximum Security) – This movie reminds me of other Fortress and other movies similar such as Escape from LA and a few others. It actually looks like it will be a decent movie.

Goon – Seann William Scott is hilarious and awesome, this movie likes it will at least be half decent for comedy so I want to see it for that and him.

The Dictator – I was not too much of a fan of Borat, not that it was not funny or anything but this one I will need to go see for some comedy.

I have been playing the game since March last year (2011), just a few weeks after it came out. It is my first MMORPG to play and I actually quite enjoy it most of the time. My personal problem with the game is the lack of Rogue developers and willingness for Trion developers to listen at all it seems. Then there is the lack of PVP. But that all of this is a different story for an entirely different topic and also not a “QQ.”

I do wonder how many active subscribers Trion currently has though now for Rift.

I have played on a total of 4 shards, the longest being Faemist from March 2011 till November 2011. I then transferred to Freeholme (with Guild) because Faemist started to die in September/October. Then in December Freeholme died as well as the guild I was in, because of SWTOR which not a lot of people seem to like. I have it and I never play it, do not have the time to but also do not enjoy it too much as I did Rift.

I ended up transferring to Deepstrike this month, January, to a more active shard. I would have had to have transferred anyways because Freeholme is shutting down now, as in the list below. The 4th shard that I have played on only for a week and a day is Wolfsbane, the most active PVE shard (and overall shard).

Here is the list of shards shutting down, and that are turning into Trial Shards and where they are being recommended (not forced) to transfer to:

PVP Shards

• Freeholme is being suggested to transfer to Deepstrike.
• Dayblind is being suggested to transfer to Deepstrike.
• Faemist is being suggested to transfer to Briarcliff.

PVE Shards

• Belmont is being suggested to transfer to Millrush.
• Galena is being suggested to transfer to Millrush.
• Galena is being suggested to transfer to Millrush.
• Atrophinius is being suggested to transfer to Greenscale.
• Crucia is being suggested to transfer to Greenscale.
• Alsbeth is being suggested to transfer to Shatterbone.

PVE-RP Shards

• Estrael is being suggested to transfer to Faeblight.
• Shadefallen is being suggested to transfer to Faeblight.

A total of 12 shards are shutting down of the 35 that Rift has including the 8 Europe shards. These shards are being converted on January 18th, 2012. I personally think that Trion should have never had a total of 32 shards to begin with. I could definitely see they needed it when the game came out, as I remember watching a few people stream the game on streaming sites and they would be waiting in queue to join their shard.

Another sign that could show the game dying slowly is that they just put up a new deal this week:

For a limited time, get an extra month of RIFT game time when you upgrade to a multi-month subscription plan.

They really seem to be begging for subscribers to come back that they will even give you an extra month.

Also depending on how 2011 went for you, that 2012 be another great or better year for you.

I seriously cannot be the only one out there that gets annoyed by this? I of course just simply just change the channel and watch something else anyways. There are plenty of other great movies on during the day as well as the many sports games that I watch each and every year too, Go Lakers and the Chicago Bears!

But does this one movie need to be played all damn day long by TBS? I do not think so. I will not argue that it is not a good or classic movie, I know it is. I do enjoy watching it maybe 2 or 3 times while more than likely not a full sit through. But does it need to be played for 24 hours? I can see maybe playing it every few hours while TBS plays another great classic movie in between it.

What TBS should do is mix in a bunch of Christmas movies and do a 48 hour marathon (or stick to 24 hours) with movies such as “Christmas Vacation (1989)” “The Santa Clause (1994)“, “Home Alone (1990)“, “Babes in Toyland (1986)” (like TBS use to play), “Miracle on 34th Street (1984)“, “Scrooged (1988)” as well as many other great and classic movies to choose from.

Note: I especially love watching both Chevy Chase in “Christmas Vacation” and Tim Allen in “The Santa Clause” movies all the time. I do like Home Alone too. Who does not love these specific classics?

So what do you think? Would you rather have a mix of great and classic Christmas, especially all or most from the list I mentioned played for either 24 or 48 hours in rotation or just “A Christmas Story” played all day long?

Why is there not some type of loyalty program or something similar to existing customers that have been around for say more than 6+ or 8+ years at T-Mobile? I have personally been a loyal customer of theirs; since I have always loved T-Mobile for that matter too, for over 8 years now. I have I never been with another carrier, and I hope to never especially the death star AT&T. Which I am glad they pulled out of the merger! :)

I am a huge tech geek I guess you would say. I normally happen to pick a phone that will last me more than 2 years not just because of the horrible decisions cell phone companies make for a customer to only be able to upgrade your phone every 2 years with contract renewals. However, in my case, a newer and better phone has since come out that I absolutely want but do not necessary need per say. That phone is the Samsung Galaxy S2 and on T-Mobile it is called the “Hercules.”

I would honestly love to see some type of loyalty program exist to where maybe you could upgrade your phone, with a renewal contract, every year once you have been with them for an x amount of years that they would decide rather it be 4, 6, or even over 8 in my case. Could this program have other perks? Sure, why not, I mean you are showing a company that you are indeed loyal to them already, would it be that hard to offer you more than they would a newer customer? I know some people might say, they are just a company, what makes them feel they have to reward you for your loyalty? I am sure anyone could argue back and forth on this all day, but in the end all that should really matter to them is that you are giving them your money rather than you giving another carrier money instead of them.

Every time I see a great new deal for T-Mobile, it is almost always just for new customers more than half the time, and the other half of the time for existing customers you can only get it if you are eligible for an upgrade. This is just wrong and should not be the case for long time customers. I do understand why in its current state but also 2 years is just a long time in today’s world.

The phone I currently have is the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant and I bought it Day-1 at the T-Mobile store on July 15th, 2010. I absolutely love this phone, the problem? No official updates, period. There also seems to be none coming out out the foreseeable either. Before this phone I bought the T-Mobile G1 about a month after its release and used it up until the Samsung Galaxy S Vibrant.

But with that said on no official updates, you can still get the latest Android version (or almost latest sometimes) over at the XDA Developers forums because of the great community of developers working together to still bring us updates for all our Vibrant phones. There are some developers right now, one in particular by neobuddy, already providing a Android 4.0 rom (ICS Passion) to the Vibrant. It is still a work in progress and while I have not personally tested it yet, has had for the most part great feedback from the community. I am waiting for another release or two post 8.0 until I flash mine but at the moment, it seems like it is really stable to use now.

I just wish there were plans to bring an official update to our Vibrant. Now why will they not provide an update? Simple answer, because T-Mobile considers it an ancient phone, so why provide an update when they longer support or sell it. They would rather you pay, likely more money too, to get the latest and greatest phone instead. They make money that way.

I still want the Samsung Galaxy S II (S2) “Hercules” branded T-Mobile phone though, even when I do get Android 4.0 on my Vibrant because of the latest hardware inside of it such as the 8.0 MP camera, flash, front facing camera, screen size, and so forth inside of it.

Update 12/13/2011: Samsung has stated that we will not be getting Android 4.0 on any Galaxy S phone because of TouchWiz as well as the Galaxy Tab. Source: CNET and other many sites.

It all started to go downhill for the Bears after we lost Cutler and especially when we lost Knox due to their injuries. We were having a pretty good season when Cutler was playing great along with Knox and others while we had a 5 win streak going until the injuries to them.

Hanie has not been able to play as great as the Bears team and us fans have hoped for. Though do not let it sound like this is all Hanie’s fault, because it is not just his. Plus you need to know, as most do already, this is his first time playing with exception to the last game in the 2011 season and starting in the NFL. He did not have enough time to prepare for this and I wish we would have had another Quarterback to fall on and use. If you want to blame anyone, as most do, I would probably start with the coaches such as Lovie Smith and Mike Martz.

Well anyways, as always a Bears fan, I can only hope that the 2012-13 season will be much better for us.

Now the digital upgrade; which there are just only 2 of them, costs $10 each and don’t actually offer much of an “upgrade” to your gameplay no matter which digital upgrade you go with. Which is why Trion fails at donating for this charity event especially with their advertisement of “‘Tis the Season for Giving” and just wants users to give them more money for really nothing yet alone a measly dollar to the Child’s Play charity when it would never hurt them to give more. These 2 upgrades detailed below do not effect ones RIFT playing over another without it in anyway if they would have decided to give more than just $1.

Collector’s Edition only offers an Ancient Tartagon mount (you can buy the same similar different coller, a collector’s satchel that offers a backpack of 24 slots and a Bogling wastrel companion which to be honest, majority of the gamers rarely ever use companions and they are only just for show.

Ashes of History Edition only offers a Spindrel mount (spider mount) which you rarely ever see anyone using anymore other than the first week it was released, a personal banker that has a cooldown of 2 hours (really?) and is only useful every now and again when you’re not at the Sanctum or Meridian such as in a raid, dungeon or event, and lastly a faction tabard which is just another useless chest wardrobe of many already that you rarely see people using too.

You’re telling me that Trion can’t at least give $5 of the $10 spent from a customer to give to the Child’s Play charity? What a joke, and they say it is the season for giving, sigh. You might as well donate straight to Child’s Play yourself if you want to donate.

Are you excited for SW:TOR? I have been for a few months now, though lately I have heard bad things about it from those that have been part of the beta, so I hope it turns out to be great on the final build and so further after for each patch. Especially the PVP aspect of the game, not that I dislike PVE at all.
