61 Assassin / 15 Nightblade

The spec: 61 Assassin / 15 Nightblade

You can change the 0 point to whichever one you want. I typically use Saboteur for Adhesive Bomb or Riftstalker for Shadow Shift then there is also Bladedancer which you get Side Steps.

Alternative specs:

If you choose to try or use these additional specs, there will be a few changes to the macros below. You will lose some abilities but gain others, it really depends on your play style and how you want to play assassin and with what abilities.

Storm Legion raiding is not completely melee friend. I would not recommend this specific spec for PVE/Raiding especially because of Twilight Force with State of Sloth which does not work on bosses/raids. You should however use this build instead that I have posted 61 Assassin / 9 Marksman / 6 Ranger.

Synergy Crystals:

Gilded Assassin Crystal
T'Scain's Assassin Crystal

Additionally you could choose to use either of the Riftstalker crystals for restoring health and/or more endurance.

Opener:

Expose Weakness
Jagged Strike

Do not use Assassinate, it is weak and does not do as much damage; even burst, as Jagged Strike will.

Builder:

#show Backstab
cast Backstab
cast Serpent Strike
cast Savage Strike
cast Twilight Force
cast Expose Weakness

I do not macro Poison Malice but you can add it to the above if you are lazy/do not care to self manage it on your own.

Additional abilities with no macros:

Puncture - This deals 327 to 361 damage, ignore Armor and bleeds the target for 1319 health over 10 seconds. Do not macro this as it is now an instant ability since 1.11.
Leaping Plunge - 3 to 30 meter range that leaps you to the enemy dealing 1449 to 1602 water damage and counts as a poison. You could optionally macro this with Twilight Force.

Ranged Utility/Builder:

#show Leaping Plunge
cast Leaping Plunge
cast Twilight Force

As mentioned above, macro this together or not. This is a melee spec, so you want to be in melee as much as possible so these 2 abilities will at least allow that possibility if you get disconnected from the target and to hopefully get back on them.

You also have Fiery Spikes to use at ranged but the reason why we use Twilight Force in this macro is because it reduces the targets movement speed by 30% and also applies State of Sloth to the target which then they take 10% more damage from you. You will want to have this on your target as much as possible.

Finisher:

#show Final Blow
cast Final Blow
cast Flame Thrust

Additional Finisher:

Impale

You cannot macro Impale with the above finisher, but Impale will take priority over Final Blow, make sure it is on your target as much as possible. You can use KAlert to further help you manage it.

Thread of Death:

#show Thread of Death
cast Thread of Death
cast Jagged Strike

Thread of Death is OP and amazing to have, especially if in the near future you are not going to be going back into stealth and really want to use Jagged Strike on someone to further burn them down or switched targets. It has a great short cooldown of only 30 seconds too. I personally think the only ability you should use with this is Jagged Strike. I have yet to test (will soon) the increased damage of Assassinate since they buffed Assassin more in RIFT 2.1. You can use my KaruulAlert to manage Jagged Strike.

Make sure you “Edit Layout” after you import these to adjust them to your layout and play style.

Slip Away:

#show Slip Away
cast Cleanse Soul
cast Hidden Veil
cast Slip Away

I would suggest adding “use Stellar Healing Tonic” to this macro after Cleanse Soul if you have any that you would like to use or any other healing potions.

Enduring Brew does not work in this macro, not sure if intentional or not as I have not checked on this. It would be nice to have used though after Cleanse Soul in case you had any healing debuffs on you and without using a healing pot or if it is on cooldown.

You could use 0 point Bladedancer for Side Steps and put that in your Slip Away macro.

Combat Buffs:

Poison Malice - Increases Poison Buff damage done by 100% when hit in melee while dealing 226 water damage to the attacker. This buff lasts 15 seconds.
Thread of Death - Allows the next ability that requires Stealth to be used out of Stealth. This only lasts 5 seconds, so use it fast if not in a macro.

Utility:

Poison Gas - Confuses nearby enemies in your radius for 6 seconds until damage.
Blinding Power - Confuses your target for 10 seconds until damage, 20 meter range.
Adhesive Bomb - Snares all enemies in the target area for 8 seconds. (if you are 0 point Saboteur)
Shadow Shift - Teleports 15 meters. (if you are 0 point Riftstalker)
Side Steps - Increases Dodge by 50% for 15 seconds. (if you are 0 point Bladedancer)

Primary Buffs:

Enfeebling Poison
Malicious Poison
Lethal Poison

If you did not know, with 61 Assassin you gain “Master of Poisons” that allows you to use 3 poisons. These should be your primary buffs for good reason however there are still 3 more that you can use; listed below.

Additional Buffs:

Leeching Poison
Debilitating Poison
Virulent Poison

I would personally not bother to use Virulent Poison, any of the others will always be better in my opinion.

You will have the choice to flip between Leeching Poison and Debilitating Poison and I personally would only switch them out with the main buffs in this order: Malicious Poison > Lethal Poison. You do not want to not have Enfeebling Poison up because of the chance, if up, for the enemy to deal 10% less damage to you.

Now the reason why I think if you want Leeching or Debilitating over Malicious first then Lethal is because of Lethal’s increase chance for the enemy to be critical hit by 5%. This will also apply to the raid for anyone else on your target as well. Though Malicious will deal more damage though and return 2 energy to you.

I honestly almost never switch between them though, I have used Leeching in the past, and the small amount of heals was nice compared with other heals but with how PVP is now in Storm Legion, I just do not see a use for it over damage and the same goes with Debilitating and draining someones mana (main reason to use it), power or energy.
