Okay, so I know the game has been out since September ’08. I just decided to purchase this game (used) for $11.03 (Thanks to GameFly). So as any other game, I looked up the achievements and wow, how ridiculous some of them are. Here are 4 of the ridiculous achievements I have already seen.

I will do them, sadly, as they take only seconds to do each day but still, why? These developers or whoever is in control of these achievements need to be fired and never work in the gaming industry again. You are really not achieving anything here..

Remember September ’44
50 GS – While connected to Xbox LIVE, play the game on September 17th.
Play it on September 17th. Just boot the game up and make sure you are connected to live.

Obsessive
100 GS – While connected to Xbox LIVE, play the game for once a day for 100 days
See Focused

Committed
50 GS – While connected to Xbox LIVE, play the game once a week for three months
Switching time zones does not work for this one so looks like you get to keep for a little while if you want this one.

Focused
25 GS – While connected to Xbox LIVE, play the game once a day for 7 days
Use the link under the Kilroy was here achievement then scroll to the bottom of the page you should see a guide for this were you change time zones.

I know there are many, many more games that have done such achievements that are ridiculous. I will take you back to one or even one you may not know of, NBA LIVE 07. The achievement is worth 100 Gamerscore with the name of Online with 1,000 people. What do you have to do? Well if you can not guess from the title, here is the description: Be online when there are 1,000 people online at the same time.

Yes, I do have this achievement thanks to the folks over at Xbox360Achievements that organized an event to have such many people online on a certain date which was 2/25/2007. Almost 2 years ago now. Achievement’s like this are ridiculous and need to be stopped, will they though? I highly doubt it.

Sunday:
The Unit – Just another reason why this show is great as hell. This season opener was bad ass. It is what I love about The Unit, the action and everything else about it. This is a great show, so if it interests you and you are missing it, get caught up!
Family Guy – Hilarious! But what else do you expect from Family Guy? Finally get to see it again and hopefully more of each week and no breaks?

Monday:
Prison Break – Ahhhh! It is Prison Break! One of the best shows around without doubt. This weeks episode started off fucking amazing and left at that too. Mahone proves to be the coolest man to watch this season still, I cannot! wait till he gets his hands on Wyatt. It is going to be one badass scene or at least, it better be.
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles – They really need to stop with the whole good or bad Cameron thing each episode. Either she is good or bad. Stop it and move on with the show! Sigh..
Raising the Bar – “Zack Morris” proves he is an awesome actor in each episode I continue to watch. If you are missing this show, start watching it, it is a great show.
CSI Miami – Boring episode but then again what do you expect, season opener was awesome but not so much this one. New York still proves to be the best CSI the last 2 seasons. This and Vegas have fallen behind and doubt a return.
Life – 1… 2… *shoot* “You didn’t count to 3!” “I rounded up” Haha. Love Life. Awesome show. I thought it was canceled but it is back! Glad to see it back.
Chuck – Call of Duty 4! Enough said? LOL. Loved the COD4 constant mentions in this episode. Other than that, great premiere. You cannot go wrong with Chuck or Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski), oh yea!
Two and a Half Men – Charlie Sheen just proves he is more hilarious. Awesome actor. Hilarious show, especially with the small Angus T. Jones scenes.

Tuesday:
The Shield – Decent episode, not too much went on this week so slow episode. It is getting better though, like last weeks and next weeks looks good too.
The Cleaner – It was not one of the best episodes but it was one of the saddest ones so far because of the fact they were unable to help the girl this time, almost did! but not enough.
NCIS – Last weeks opener was obviously awesome. This week not so bad but finally Tony is back on the team! Back at home!
Fringe – I wish I could say I am LOST in Fringe. But I am going to start a new saying that I am “Fringed in Fringe” sort of like “LOST in LOST”. Because at the time, I have no clue what is going on necessary or where the show is even headed. Which would be why I keep watching it, to see what is going to happen!
The Mentalist – Yet another great episode. This show is amazing. Has some pretty good laughs here and there too that are usually always caused by Patrick (Simon Baker).
Law and Order: SVU – I wonder what is going to happen to Stabler, you cannot really have SVU without him, so I expect him to be back some how. Other than that, boring episode really. It seems Fin (Ice-T) likes Stabler at little more, at least that is what I got from it.

Wednesday:
Sons of Anarchy – Yet another bad ass episode. If you are not watching this show, you are missing out big time.
CSI: New York – Good episode. New York just proves even more each week to be the best CSI to be watching right now.
Criminal Minds – Slow episode compared to last weeks, not the worst episode but also not the best. Just heh.
Knight Rider – It is Knight Rider, what much else do you want to know? Lol. I liked this episode much more than last weeks though, more of the car is always cool. But the show still kind of sucks. Not much interested in this show what so ever. They should of never brought back this show.
Gary Unmarried – There are few comedies I get to watch, some that I wish I got into. Here is another show the already that the past two weeks has me laughing during entire episode. Check it out.

Yesterday I saw the movie Traitor with my date Jordan. Which on a side note, went absolutely great. :)
The movie stars Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Saïd Taghmaoui, Neal McDonough and a few other actors you may of seen in other movies as well such as Jeff Daniels. You can watch the trailer here.
I thought it was a good movie. I would not say it was absolutely great because there are many other movies I have seen this year that I would say were better. But I will go ahead and recommend seeing this movie. I did not think it was terrible what so ever, either.
I do not want to spoil any parts of the movie, so really watch the trailer and decide to go see it or not. Not my typical “review” but can not think of anything really to say at the moment then what I have said above plus I am in too good a mood to think.

Today Apple introduced some awesome new or updated of their products or applications at their San Francisco event, Let’s Rock.

iTunes 8.0 was the first update to be introduced. A new feature ‘Genius’ was introduced. Which is just an awesome feature that I can not wait to play with. One part of it, is that it picks similar artists and songs related to what you are listening to that you may like that you do not own. It also will create a playlist for songs similar to what you’re playing that you may love too. I highly suggest checking this out and playing with it yourself! All of this information is sent to Apple anonymous, so there is no need to worry if you were.

Next, new iPod nanos! Yes, Kevin Rose got another thing right too. Not only did he first mention this and later iTunes 8.0 coming on his video rumor. The new iPod nano is very slick. Thank god they learned that no one liked the design they just came out with. They have a very nice design now, sporting a slightly bigger screen, too. New price is $149 for 8GB and $199 for 16GB. You will get 24 hours of music and 4 hours of video, typically. The Genius feature is included as well and can be used by simply pressing and holding the center button.

New in-hear headphones. They ship with 3 earbuds and have 2 drivers each, a subwoofer and tweeter. They will sell for $79.

Updated iPod Touch coming out! It will have the same display but also be even thinner. It will have a contoured stainless steel design (like the new iPod nano). They’ve integrated volume controls to the side now and now comes with a built-in speaker. Steve Jobs even mentions that it was hard for them to do that with the iPod Touch being even thinner now. App Store is now built in and of course, comes with Genius feature that is in iTunes 8.0.

Continuing with the iPod Touch, they enhanced the UI and better artwork on albums. They’ve built-in Nike+ now with the Touch. So the receiver is built-in but you will need the transmitter in your shoe. You will get around 36 hours while listening to music and 6 hours of watching video. The 8GB will sell for $229, 16GB for $299 and 32GB for $399.

iPhone firmware 2.1 was introduced. Steve Jobs says this is a big update and fixes lots of bugs. Fewer dropped calls, big battery life improvements and no crashes with Apps. Backing up is also faster too. This update will be free to all owners this Friday, September 12th, 2009.

That ends what was shown and talked about at this Apple Event minus some additional talking of statistics and such.
