Finally! U.S. users of the Android OS phone or G1 can get their 1.5 Cupcake update. Follow the instructions below to do so, I have already updated with this file and it is the Official U.S. version of Android 1.5 Cupcake.

I am very impressed with this update (that finally has arrived). I have seen my share of videos of the updates but after having used it, it feels so much better than what I was expecting which was good already. The on-screen keyboard is nice, it takes some getting used too. Some larger fingers can have a harder time getting use to. I think I will just be using the on-screen keyboard for quick writing and not long text messages or anything. The user interface updates are even more beautiful.

Bethesda announced today two more new Fallout 3 Downloadable Content for all versions including Xbox 360. The first DLC is called Point Lookout and it lets you explore a massive new swampland area filled with new quests and content. It will be released in late June for Xbox 360 and PC for 800 Microsoft Points ($9.99).

Mothership Zeta is the second DLC, scheduled for release in late July for Xbox 360 and PC for 800 Microsoft Points ($9.99). In Mothership Zeta, the aliens have returned, and they’re pissed. Experience an alien abduction first hand and find out if you’re tough enough to survive.

I am much more looking forward to Mothership Zeta not that I expect Point Lookout to be anywhere not good though. Bethesda has really been pushing out great new DLC for Fallout 3 this year and it has all been great so far, I am getting so much more out of this game then originally thought.

Sick of waiting for Android 1.5? Well you will be waiting just a little longer, just like myself. I am quite disappointed with T-Mobile USA right now. Everyone else has received their “Cupcake” update thus far except us (UK, Germany, etc).

They announced the following: “We’re finalizing the build this week to ensure optimal functionality and smooth delivery. Therefore, the rollout schedule has been reset by approximately a week, and we expect all G1 customers will have the update by early June.”

So according to the announcement, as long as if nothing more changes, we should start seeing the update slowly roll out the week of May 25th.

It is very, very early in the morning here on Wednesday. So where are you Android 1.5 “Cupcake” update? Where are you!? Yes, I know as well as others it stated it would start rolling out the week of May 11th but it has not started yet but will be sometime this week.

Yet UK users and other countries already have this update, OTA or Manual. Why do they get it before us? I can understand a few days or week but it has been over 2 weeks now and we are still waiting. Yes, I am inpatient now waiting for it. Just give it to us, we know it’s done. I am sure part of the reason they are not is to let developers catch up and update their apps so they don’t break in the update when/if used. Well too bad, give it to us. I’ll wait on not using an app till they are fixed rather than wait on the update as it brings more.

Update: T-Mobile has changed their announcement stating that we will now see Cupcake at the end of this week. So expect this to be Friday as other rumors have come out today as well. You will have Cupcake by the end of the month for sure but it should start rolling out Friday. Those that can not wait can manually update, I will post instructions on how to do so when this comes out.

Update 2: As of Saturday, it is now rumored to finally come out Monday May 18th, 2009. So keep an eye out for it or do a manual install of it from Android forums out there. Post a comment if you need any help and I’ll do my best.

First you will need to watch the video:

After having watched it, what are your thoughts? Honestly, every Microsoft Ad they have put out is just dumber and dumber. This one just adds to the collection of them.

Apparently 2GB of ram is not enough for her. It is not like she is going to be doing much with it anyways or her “video editing”. Come on now Microsoft. Hands down Apple is going to win for video editing for majority of the laptops out there.

Also stop flaunting HP laptops so much, it is not like everyone does not know that HP is paying you to have these customers walk out with them. I am not saying HP’s are bad but seriously there is Toshiba, Dell and more you could. These videos just tell lies for the most part.
