It has been awhile since I have posted anything here. I am still alive, a lot has happened recently in my life. The biggest thing was that my mom passed away a month ago today. Everything else is just small and useless compared to that. I did camp out all night on November 21st to get an xbox 360 on November 22nd. I was originally selling it but decided to keep it, and it’s great. I have NBA 2K6, FIFA 06, Condemned and Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland for it. I did not get Call of Duty or Need for Speed because I already had played and beat it on the computer.

I also bought myself a 15″ PowerBook and a Canon Digital Rebel XT Silver. Which are both great, especially finally owning an Apple computer. I love Mac’s.

On December 7th, 2005, I received my FREE iPod and iPod nano on the same day. (See more at the forums) The iPod video is great (30gb) and I love the syncing of everything with the mac.

I finished my finals over a week ago. 1 of them I did good on and the other (economics) wasn’t so good but my final grade for the class was still pretty good (nothing I can complain about).

That is about it, I had not been posting for awhile because I have been trying to put together a nice, clean, web design for Mistical.com as I absolutely hate the look I have right now and have for quite awhile. If anyone is interested in getting paid, let me know at the forums.

Microsoft has revised the allocation of Xbox 360 launch units to 400,000 for the North American region, an EB Games employee said on Saturday. The number of units is far below the 1 million units expected at the launch window and much dire than recent estimates.

In an unprecedented move, Microsoft has issued a critical advisory urging users to apply a critical update from Flash Player update from Macromedia.

The vulnerability first reported by eEye Digital Security and Sec Consult, can allow malicious parties to inject unauthorized code, using invalid array indexes, to be executed by Flash Player. This vulnerability is browser independent. Users who have already upgraded to Flash Player 8 are not affected by this issue. Macromedia recommends all Flash Player 7 and earlier users upgrade to this new version, which can be downloaded from the Macromedia Player Download Center.

I am working on another design for here, mistical.com. Something that I will like much more than what I have going for me now (I don’t like it much..) so hopefully within the next few days I’ll get finished with that and then submit news more often? :)

Gamers looking to be among the first to get their hands on an X-box 360 controller at Wal-Mart demo kiosks can still do it, but they won’t actually be controlling anything.

Xbox 360 kiosks placed in Wal-Mart stores across the country have been shut off, said a Microsoft spokesperson contacted this afternoon. The reason, according to Microsoft, is due to the console causing interference with Wal-Mart’s wireless “hand scanner” inventory system. Microsoft has acknowledged the problem as being “minor” and says a software solution is in the works to correct it.

Wednesday was a happy day for producers of Fox’s “Prison Break” and “American Dad,” NBC’s “The Office” and USA Network’s “The 4400.”

All four shows have earned pickup orders from their respective networks.

Fox ordered nine episodes each of taut drama “Prison Break,” which led the charge for network this season, and animated comedy “Dad,” bringing their complement to a full season’s worth of 22 episodes.

“Prison Break” got off to a strong start in its preseason August 29 launch and in recent weeks has held its own in the 9 p.m. Monday slot as Fox’s rivals have rolled out their new Monday programs.

“American Dad” bowed in May behind Fox’s relaunch of “Family Guy” in the Sunday 9-10 p.m. hour. “Dad,” from “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane, has not been as big a Nielsen hit as “Family Guy” or “The Simpsons,” but it has helped put Fox back in the game with the younger set on a competitive night.

NBC confirmed it has given the green light to produce seven additional episodes of “The Office,” bringing the total for the offbeat comedy’s sophomore year to 13 episodes.

USA signed up for a second 13-episode season of the Emmy-nominated “4400,” a sci-fi saga about the reappearance of 4,400 people who were previously reported missing or dead but suddenly returned to Earth with mysterious powers.
