AND THE BEARS ARE IN THE SUPER BOWL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 21 YEARS. Which of course they won it against the Patriots back then. I did want them to be playing the Patriots once again but I also think it is good that we are playing the Colts. We have not played the Colts so this will be a good game as well as history is being made by there being the first two African American coaches in the Super Bowl. It will be a one heck of a tough but great game. In the end, I want the Bears to win and I think they can do it. They have a great defense, decent offense versus the Colts great offense and QB Manning.

GO BEARS!!!

THANK YOU ROBBIE GOULD FOR THE GAMING WINNING 49 YARD FIELD GOAL AGAINST THE SEATTLE SEAHAWKS!. YOU ARE THE BEST KICKER.

We play the Saints next week. It’s going to be a tough game. I hope Grossman can play like he did or like we would all like, even better. Da Defense also needs to step it up I think. They did alright and they were great when we needed them to be such as when we needed them to stop some big plays, especially the last 30 seconds in the 4th so they couldn’t get in field goal range for their kicker.

Today at MacWorld 2007, Apple introduced the Apple TV (not an actual TV, a device formerly known as codename iTV) and the Apple iPhone. That was really it at this year’s MacWorld. Both great devices, too bad though you will only be able to get the iPhone, at least for now, with a 2-year contract only with Cingular. I have T-Mobile and prefer them over Cingular. Apple would get so many more sells on their iPhone if they would sell an unbranded phone or opened our options more as to who we can go with. But oh well, things could change between now and June but doubtful.

I am still thinking if I should buy the Apple TV or not, I was for sure getting it until I heard it doesn’t support a lot of formats like DivX. So if it doesn’t play on your iPod without transferring to the iPod format, it won’t play on Apple TV, apparently.

Nothing else except for the latest Apple sales and ads were talked about, meaning no announcements on their macs, displays, leopard and so forth but everything is changing for Apple so I guess we should expect a change at each MacWorld/Keynote.

It’s been awhile since I last blogged, it’s been good since though.

November was a crazy month. I first camped out for Playstation 3 at a local Target with my brother and his friend. I was #4 in line and my brother/friend was #5 and #6. We started out camp out in the afternoon on Wednesday the 15th throughout Friday morning the 17th. By Thursday we finally found out there would only be 14 Playstation 3’s (4 60GB, 10 20GB). Being the 4th, I was the last one to get the 60GB. Great time it was too.

Then almost 2 days later I camped out for Nintendo Wii. I bought 2 of them, 1 for myself and 1 for my little sister and brother which they would get at Christmas but did not know about at all.

Nintendo Wii, absolutely rocks, since it’s been out for awhile and sold over 3 million copies, I am sure you know it does as well. Wii Sports and Zelda are just absolutely amazing right now. Among other games as well, I love Madden 07 and some others too.

Then a week after PS3/few days after Wii camp out, I camped out with my friend Nicole for Black Friday. Which was Thursday afternoon, the 23rd, throughout Friday morning, the 24th. We were technically #1 and #2 but we waited in our car for an hour with no activity, 2 other cars pulled up about 30 minutes after us and waited in their car as well. Till finally these older women came and through out their chairs and claimed the head of the line, then it was us, not a big deal so in the end we were #4 and #5. We were getting what we wanted anyways. Which was the $379 HP laptop for each of us and the $479.99 Westinghouse 32″ LCD HDTV. The $379 HP laptop was free for me as I still had my free $400 Best Buy gift cards from earlier in the year from FreePay instead of an Xbox 360.

Well what a nut house it was by 5AM when the store opened. Over 500 people were in line, only the first 30 people? give or take a few, were actually getting either the front page items and/or the really good deals that were going on. But it wasn’t as bad you would think it would be with over 500 people in line wanting some of the items you were getting and such or as bad as it was camping out for PS3. The camp out for Wii was absolutely no problems, even received a free t-shirt (everyone in line did). I ended up seeing my best friend in line, he was a only a few people after us. He ended up getting the HP laptop as well, the Westinghouse 19″ Widescreen LCD Monitor and the Westinghouse 32″ LCD HDTV.
The HP laptop and Westinghouse 32″ LCD HDTV has since been both great. I absolutely love the TV. Matter of fact, I replaced my 70″ projector for Xbox 360 gaming with it just because I love it that much and this was only about 2 weeks ago that I changed this. Though I’ll still switch cords and hook it up to my projector for movies though, not that it looks bad on the TV just much bigger on projector and still great picture.

Christmas was great, spent it at my dads and finally was able to give my little sister and brother the Nintendo Wii. They were totally shocked. It was great, they love it even though they have been using mine when I bring it over there, now they have their own.

Now it’s New Year Day, Happy New Year!

Nothing new since my last blog post (as to why I havn’t blogged). Just the usual, work, gaming and everyday life stuff. Had 22nd birthday last week. Been working on Andriana Santiago’s new site a lot along with her store that will be launched within the next 2 weeks. Just been watchen my tv shows as they have started over the last 2 months each week. Some good news shows as well. Seen some new movies here and there too.

I’m currently watchen:

Prison Break, LOST, The Office, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Standoff, Shark, CSI, CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Family Guy, Heroes, Jericho, Justice, Kidnapped, Law and Order: SVU, My Name is Earl, Numb3rs, Runaway, Six Degrees, Smith, The Nine, The Unit, Two and a Half Men, Vanished and I think that is about it. Yes, I watch a lot of tv shows but I love them.

I’m waiting for to return in 2007:

24, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis (hate mid-season breaks), Lucky Louie, The Shield, any of the shows above that will return after their Winter break and I am not sure of any other shows at the moment that are airing in 2007.

I am really liking the new shows this season, which are: Standoff, Shark, Jericho, Smith, Heroes, Justice, Kidnapped, Runaway, Six Degrees and The Nine. I am half and half about Vanished, it kind of bores me at points.

I am waiting for The Office to take off, I understand them not putting Jim and Pam together yet, as it will happen, but I just can’t wait for it too. This week on The Office Jim and Pam will finally talk to each other on the phone! as they have not since that night at the casino.

As of today I have finally installed Folding@Home on 2 of my 3 computers that I rarely ever use. Whenever I get my 3rd very old/first computer up and running again, I will install it on there for them to be able to use my CPU as well. I know I wanted to originally participate in Folding@Home a very very long time ago (like around when they started it) but after that I just forgot about ever doing anything and you know how that goes until a few days where I started hearing about it again on Digg so I have kept remembering till now to do it and finally have done so. My Folding Page

Da Bears won tonight! They came back to win the game 24 to 23. They continue their winning streak, 6-0. They have a bye this week and will return on Sunday the 29th at Home against the 49ers.

I was almost scammed by Dustin Diamonds, also known as Screech from Saved By The Bell. Do you remember a few months ago news articles on him selling t-shirts (getDshirts.com) in order to save his house and blah blah blah? Well back then I figured I would go ahead and buy one for the hell of it. I mean, it is Screech from Saved By The Bell, this is probably not a scam. Well think again because I was almost scammed by him.

On June 20th, 2006 I bought the signed t-shirt for a total of $26.50 via PayPal. On June 29th, 2006 I received an email from Screech, View Partial Email. On July 20th, 2006, one month later, I went to the order tracking link provided for me in the email I received.

I waited and waited, finally on August 2nd, 2006 I sent in a PayPal Dispute. In the dispute I had filed on August 2nd, all I stated is that I would like to either receive the signed t-shirt as promised or get a refund for what I ordered and had yet to receive.

From then till August 18th, I received no responses from Dustin Diamond and escalated the dispute to a claim. Today, August 28th, the dispute is finally over, PayPal reversed the charges and I finally received my $26.50 back.

Nothing new at all over here, just the usual same shit and different day going on here. I am still alive, I just have nothing ever to write/say. The free MacBook has been treating me good. I love it. Because of the battery recalls I am getting a new battery for my PowerBook.

I saw Mark Wahlberg’s new movie today, Invincible. Great movie! Incredible. Now I just need to see Beerfest and then Crank, The Wicker Man and a few others I can’t think of at the moment. I saw Accepted last week, hilarious movie, nothing bad to say about it at all. I recommend seeing it. Talladega Nights was pretty good, I didn’t think it was as hilarious as Accepted but not a bad movie to see.

Stay away from seeing the recent new movies like Zoom and John Tucker Must Die (which wasn’t all that bad but not worth wasting the money on when you there are other movies that are much better you can put the money towards like Crank (I expect it to be good), Invincible, Beerfest, etc.
