51 Marksman / 10 Assassin / 5 Nightblade

This spec is designed for RIFT 1.11.

The spec: 51 Marksman / 10 Assassin / 5 Nightblade

This is one of our highest DPS specs for 1.11 and parses higher than the 15 Ranger spec.

I did enough testing with both of these specs to determine that you will get higher DPS in this spec. Both specs are the same as far as rotation and such goes except that you lose 1 self buff to put up (Predatory Instincts) and you lose 1 mobility ability, Shadow Shift.

If you are not aware of the 15 ranger spec, you can find it here. The only spec now I have not bothered to test out is 10 Ranger / 5 Nightblade, I doubt I will as Storm Legion is less than a few weeks ago and specs will change again anyways.

Synergy Crystal:

Zardonis' Marksman Crystal (you will want to have 4 piece ID and/or HK gear pieces with this)

Builder:

Empowered Shot becomes instant after every finisher used within the allowed time of the buff it gives you of course. It as well as Swift Shot hits harder with the 4 piece Marksman Crystal.

Finisher:

Make sure to use Bull’s Eye with Deadeye Shot.

Rotation:

Builder > Finisher (Rapid Fire Shot) > Decoy –>
Strafe > Empowered Shot > Bulls Eye > Finisher (Deadeye Shot) >
Builder > Finisher (Rapid Fire Shot) –>
Quick Reload > Repeat above when cooldowns are up otherwise Builder > Finisher

Yes, you will end up “wasting” 2 combo points during your 2nd part of the rotation and so forth. But this does not matter as Empowered Shot hits hard and you do not want to waste the instant cast buff either.

You can use Empowered Shot before or after Strafe, it does not matter. If it is easier to make sure you have used Lock N Loaded (the instant cast buff) that way then do it or use KaruulAlert.

Cooldowns:

Bulls Eye
Quick Reload
Decoy

You will use these 3 abilities on cooldown but wisely. Only use Quick Reload when Rapid Fire Shot (and Bulls Eye/Decoy) are not coming off cooldown so you do not waste any cooldowns.

Throw up Decoy after you have done a finisher.

Purge:

Eradicate – Now a 3 second cooldown so use wisely especially if Ituziel or Sicaron purging.

Interrupt:

Deaden – 10 second cooldown.

Utility:

On the Double – Increased movement speed by 50% for 5 seconds with a 21 second cooldown.
Retreat – Leaps your backwards, make sure you are positioned correctly before using.

Buffs:

Silver Tip Munitions
Rending Munitions

Right now Rending Munitions is providing more DPS over the nerfed Electrified Munitions. Your Swift, Empowered and Deadeye Shot hit harder. It is not just myself seeing these results, but others too, until we see differently with our continued testing, use it.
